American Veterans Traveling Tribute
Warren, PA-June 19-22, 2003
I was in Warren, PA for the American Veterans Traveling Tribute (The Wall) and there was a tribute there that was like nothing I have ever seen before! They had the "Living Statues" which is a living tribute to the statue of the three soldiers and the women's memorial in Washington D.C.  I've been to a lot of ceremonies and events, but this has to be one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen!  During the weekend, different people presented the Living Statues every few hours. These are just a few pictures from the Living Statues and some graphics done my Mr. McCorrison that are so beautiful that I had to share them with you! If you are a Veteran, I know what these pictures will mean to you!
This is the living tribute to the statue of the three soldiers. I have never seen anything like this done before and it is a true honor to their brothers!
This is the living tribute to all of the women who served in the Vietnam War cause they are our Veterans too!!
During the ceremony, they asked my little sister if she would lay a carnation at the "base" of the living statue.  This is my sister Natalie and this is absolutely the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen done!!! When he reached his hand out and touched Natalie, I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole park.
They asked me if I would also lay a flower.  This was at the "base" of the living tribute to the women of the Vietnam War.
Before the closing ceremony, right before it was time to go home, they asked me if I would be a part of the Living Statue.  This was an honor for me and I can't tell you how much it meant to me. (That's me, on the left).
I could never say how much this meant to me, to be able to honor our men and women this way. That's me, the one looking for the chopper!
This is the whole group (and me) after the memorial.
Another group shot, except this one one is from the opening day and to the left is Mr. Bill Curran.  He is the one who put together the Living Statues!!!
A group shot with Natalie too!!!
Natalie made some new friends too!!!
Right after I did the Living Statues, they asked me to do my speech again one more time and this time I did it in uniform!!!
What a way to honor the men and women who served in Vietnam! I have never seen anything so beautiful and there weren't too many dry eyes in the park. I was very proud and I was honored to be a part of something so special!!  Most of you know that I really don't sponsor things or endorse anything, I just honor our Veterans and our POW/MIA's without getting in the middle of things.  But, I do believe that if you are doing any type of ceremony or event for our Vietnam Veterans you should try to get the Living Statues there, it is something that you must see, it is that beautiful!! The link to Mr. Curran's site is below, please contact him for your event, you won't be disappointed, it truly is an honor!!!

These are some of the  most beautiful graphics that I have ever seen and I hope that you like them.  I really don't think they need an explanation!
