| The Lakeland Chapter is one of the smallest chapters in VietNow...and 10 people organized and ran the entire convention for over 300 people! This was Carolyn Carter's idea... and her 9 exhausted chaptermates presented her with the "Don't Get Another One Of Your Bright Ideas!" award! They gave Greg (left) a year's supply of duct tape to make SURE she kept her mouth shut! |

| Rich Sanders presented one of the original founders of VietNow with an award for his dedication and service to Veterans. The following October, John Berg passed away as a result of a brain tumor. |
